To exercise cost containment measures, the vast majority of our work is performed under negotiated contracts in which Vandervert Construction is an integral part of the planning and design process. Typically, these contracts specify a guaranteed maximal cost for construction. Unauthorized overruns, if any, are absorbed by Vandervert Construction so your original investment is always intact. We view this as a meaningful measurement of consideration, because you will not suddenly discover your project is going to cost more than we thought, or you budgeted.
As developers ourselves, we bring with us a perspective and a vast array of assets in design/build scenarios not found in a general contracting only firm. Approximately 60% of our volume is negotiated design/build work and a majority of that work is from repeat customers.
